Project management for the greatkidsCT website, a database of online
materials for parents of young children included
design, information architecture, user testing, database development,
and hiring and supervision of site indexers.

Market Mysteries
Developed the Market Mysteries website for the Securities Industry Association
for Economic Education. Development included creating interactive online
mysteries for children and teenagers and teacher materials, managing
the creation of
the website design and information architecture, and working with technologists
to develop the website backend.
The New York Public Library Summer Reading Club Websites
Worked with designers and technologists to develop the 2002 and 2003
Summer Reading Club websites for The New York Public Library. Development
included creation of interactive content using Flash and Javascript,
website design, and
information architecture. Worked closely with library staff in order
to create a site meeting the needs of the target audience.

NASA @ your library
Managed the development of the NASA @ your library website, a project
of the American Library Association's Association of Library Service
to Children and NASA. The website included science activities that help
children learn
about the International
Space Station. LEO managed the designers, technologists, and content
specialists for the project.
Teaming Up With Teens
Worked on the development of My Own Cafe for the Southeast Massachusetts Regional Library System (SEMLS). The project included working with an advisory council of librarians and teens; selecting, interviewing, and hiring designers to create the portal; and managing the interaction between the designers and advisory council in order to create a site for teens and libraries.
Teachers Lab
Teachers Lab is a website developed for the Annenberg/CPB Project devoted
to helping teachers find methods for teaching science and math successfully.
For this project LEO provided project management services including working
with designers, technologists, and content specialists.

Library Connections
Led workshops at the annual Summer Institute of the Archdiocese of New
York's Library Connections project. Training topics included webquests,
integrating the Internet into the curriculum, and information literacy.
Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS)
Web design, information literacy, and virtual reference services are
three of the workshops provided by LEO for CMRLS.
Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO)
Provided training to library support staff on Internet searching skills, virtual communication tools, and customer service.
The New York Public Library
Training for librarians, teenagers, children, and adults has been provided
by LEO for The New York Public Library. Topics covered in workshops include
HTML, teaching children to use the Internet, and multimedia technology tools.
Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Library System (SEMLS)
Training projects for SEMLS include Internet train the trainer, 21st
century libraries and librarianship, webquests, and services to teens.
Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS)
Conducted focus groups and evaluated the Region's online continuing education
initiative, researched the digital media needs of librarians and their
customers in Central Massachusetts, and worked as part of a team in
facilitating CMRLS' strategic planning process.
Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC)
Consulted with EDC on the uses of weblogs in education and on
weblog startup. Also provided consultant services in the selection
and annotation of resources for parents and educators on literacy
topics.
Pearson Education
Developed online materials on research and study skills and edited pathfinders that support Pearson's college textbooks.
Securities Industry Foundation for Economic Education (SIFEE)
Worked as part of a team to develop curriculum that supports the Stock Market Game, SIFEE's investment simulation program.
Shady Hill School
Evaluated the school's library services - including collection, facility, and staffing - and presented report and recommendations to faculty and administration.
Westchester Library System
Developed a program of service for the re-invigoration of teen services at libraries in the System. Project included site visits to member libraries, development of action plans for each library, planning and providing professional development, and creation of tools to use to communicate with librarians in the System.
